USC Football Picked To Win Pac-12 South; 4 Trojans Make Pre-Season All-Pac-12 First Team

LOS ANGELES — USC's football team was picked to win the 2021 Pac-12 South Division in a vote of 40 media members who cover the conference.

USC, with 223 points and 27 first place votes, was selected to repeat as the Pac-12 South Division pre-season favorite. The Trojans received the second most votes (10) to win the Pac-12 championship, behind Oregon (40 votes).

The media also placed four Trojans to the pre-season All-Pac-12 first team: quarterback Kedon Slovis, wide receiver Darke London, outside linebacker Drake Jackson and cornerback Chris Steele.

Defensive linemen Nick Figueroa and Tuli Tuipulotu, safety Isaiah Pola-Mao and punter Ben Griffiths were named to the second team.

USC's honorable mention picks were wide receiver K.D. Nixon, offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees, placekicker Parker Lewis and snapper Damon Johnson.

The 2021 Pac-12 pre-season poll and all-league teams were announced in advance of today's Pac-12 Football Media Day in Hollywood.
