January 25, 2021 | Women's Soccer
USC has eight home games and six road contests, with a full slate of 11 Pac-12 contests and three non-conference matchups on the docket.
NON-CONFERENCE
One of the Trojans' non-conference dates will be a matchup at UCLA on March 19, while the other two will be at home. USC opens up with the aforementioned Pepperdine game on February 4 and then plays BYU at home on February 15.
PAC-12 ROAD SLATE
USC begins Pac-12 play on the road at Arizona State on February 26. The Trojans then make road trips to Utah (March 12) and Colorado (March 14), and Stanford (April 9) and Cal (April 11).
PAC-12 HOME SLATE
Following hitting the road against Arizona State, the Trojans return home to face Oregon State (March 5) and Oregon (March 7) as one of four conference weekends at home. USC also hosts Arizona on March 26 one a one-game weekend, then welcomes Washington (April 2) and Washington State (April 4) the following week. The Trojans' final game of the season will be at home against UCLA on April 16.
NCAA TOURNAMENT
The NCAA College Cup will be held May 13-17 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., with preliminary rounds set to be held at campus sites. USC will be looking to make its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance under Head Coach Keidane McAlpine and the program's 19th appearance overall this year.
STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
USC's path to the postseason will again be one of the toughest in the country. The Pac-12 put nine teams in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and saw three teams (Stanford, UCLA and Washington State) advance to the NCAA College Cup with Stanford claiming its third National Championship, marking the league's sixth all-time and fifth in the past nine seasons. The only three Pac-12 teams not to make last season's NCAA Tournament were Arizona State, Oregon and Oregon State. The Trojans' two non-conference opponents (Pepperdine and BYU) also made the NCAA tournament last year, with BYU reaching the quarterfinals.
