8 Individuals, Men's & Women's T&F Teams Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

Eight USC athletes and both the men's and women's teams were named 2020 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic today (July 16).
Trojans named USTFCCCA All-Academic for the 2020 season were Nicolaus Jakowec (Biochemistry) and Brendon Stewart (Communication) for the men's team and Breanna Bernard-Joseph (Communication), Alyssa Brewer (Health & Human Sciences), Chanel Brissett (Communication), Anna Cockrell (Public Policy Master's), Cassidy Palka (Journalism) and TeeTee Terry (Communication with a minor in Forensics & Criminality) for the women's team.
In addition, both the men's team with a composite 3.14 team GPA and the women's team with a 3.26 team GPA earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.
To qualify individually an athlete must maintain a 3.25 GPA or higher, have competed at least two semesters at their current institution and ranked in the top 96 individually or in the top 48 as part of a relay during the 2020 indoor season. Eligible teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
