No. 5 USC Beach Volleyball Set For Five-Dual Week

LOS ANGELES – The fifth-ranked USC beach volleyball team (2-2) gets set for a busy weekend of action with five duals over the course of four days, including four against ranked foes. The Trojans are coming off three straight 3-2 results and needed a third-set victory to defeat No. 3 Florida State.

The Trojans take on one of their oldest local rivals when they host eighth-ranked Loyola Marymount (3-2) for the 20th meeting between the teams in USC's home opener at Merle Norman Stadium on Thursday, March 5. USC then hits the Pac-12 beach circuit and tangles with No. 19 Stanford (3-6), No. 2 UCLA (7-2), No. 11 California (5-1), and Utah (0-4) in the Pac-12 South Invitational hosted by UCLA on Saturday and Sunday (March 7-8).

USC owns three beach volleyball national championships including the first-ever NCAA title in 2016 (AVCA, 2015).
