Annie Park Joins Lizette Salas On American Solheim Cup Team

Trojans only school with two on U.S. squad.
USC All-American Annie Park was among the final three players added today to the 2019 U.S. Solheim Cup team, earning her first career appearance and joining Trojan great and four-time vet Lizette Salas.
The duo will represent the red, white and blue on the 10-woman Solheim Cup team, giving USC the only school with two on the American squad.
The U.S. will take on the European squad at Gleneagles in Scotland from Sept. 13-15.
Salas has made the American squad four consecutive years after her debut in 2013. She helped the Americans win in 2015 and 2017.
Salas, who tied for third today at the CP Women's Open for her second straight top 3 finish in as many starts, near the top 10 on this year's LPGA money list.
Park is also have a strong season, currently riding a streak of nine consecutive tournaments in which she's made the cut.
Nicole Castrale is the only other Trojan to make a Solheim Cup team (2007-09).
