Dior Hall, Reid Budrovich Earn Pac-12 Postgraduate Scholarships
August 23, 2019 | Track & Field
USC punter Reid Budrovich and hurdler Dior Hall have been named recipients of Pac-12 Postgraduate Scholarships for the just-completed 2018-19 academic year.
The scholarships, worth $9,000 each, are awarded to up to two senior student-athletes from each Pac-12 school annually who maintained a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated a commitment to education, campus and community involvement, and leadership. Each student-athlete must have completed his/her final season of intercollegiate athletics eligibility and been accepted to or enrolled as a full-time student in a graduate or professional program.
Budrovich was USC's starting punter in 2017 and 2018. He averaged 40.5 yards on 113 punts in his career, with 40 pinning opponents within the 20-yard line, 37 being fair caught and 16 traveling at least 50 yards (and only 6 were touchbacks).
He received his bachelor's degree in business administration at USC in the spring of 2018 and is now working on his master's degree in business administration. He made 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
Hall was a five-time All-American for the Trojans as a hurdler and member of USC's 4x100m relay team. She won conference sprint hurdles titles three times, winning the Pac-12 100m hurdles title in 2015 and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) indoor 60m hurdles title in 2015 and 2108.
Hall is the USC freshman record-holder in the 100m hurdles (12.74) and for a time held the freshman 60m hurdles (8.01) record and ranks in the Trojans' top 10 in both events. She ranks fourth on USC's all-time list in the 60m hurdles at 7.94, fourth in the 4x100m relay at 42.77 and fifth in the 100m hurdles at 12.74.
She received her undergraduate degree in human biology with a minor in marketing in the spring of 2018 and is now working on her master's degree in communications management.
