Day in Troy: Kids' Day Remix
March 12, 2019 | Trojan Outreach, Features
On March 3, USC's Trojan Outreach program hosted its biggest event of the year for kids and families: A Day in Troy.
The event welcomed many from the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles Parks and Recreation Department. More than 4,500 students, parents and teachers spent the afternoon with USC student-athletes for a day of outreach, recreation and education.
Attendees began the morning with an exclusive viewing of a special video highlighting the daily lives of USC student-athletes as they balance sports, school work and community service. The fun continued at Fan Fest where guests received autographs from student-athletes, enjoyed free carnival games, t-shirt giveaways and lunch. The event ended with an exciting women's basketball game against Utah where the Ladies of Troy won 83-77 in overtime play.
