USC Football Announces February Signing Period 2019 Class

Six high school football players and a junior college player signed letters of intent with USC today (Feb. 6) and will join the Trojan program in the fall, USC head coach Clay Helton announced.
Today's signees join 19 other players who signed in December's early signing period to comprise USC's 2019 signing class.
Today's signees are, alphabetically: WR Kyle Ford of Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High, DB Dorian Hewitt of North Shore Senior High in Houston (Tex.), DBKaulana Makaula of Punahou School in Honolulu (Hi.), DB Tuasivi Nomura of Centennial High in Corona (Calif.), DB Adonis Otey of Blackman High in Murfreesboro (Tenn.), DB Jaylen Watson of Ventura (Calif.) Junior College and DB Jayden Williams of Centennial High in Corona (Calif.).
"Congratulations to all those student-athletes who found their fit at USC and will continue their football careers as Trojans," said Helton. "This is a players' game, so getting quality players like these is imperative to a team's success. We signed 19 talented players in December, and 10 of those are already enrolled in classes and participating in our off-season conditioning and workouts. Today, we added 7 more talented players who filled major needs for us. We are excited to have all 26 players join us and begin their development in our program."

Of those December signees, eight graduated early from high school and enrolled at USC in January (Allen, Goforth, Jackson, Quinones, Slovis, Ta'ufo'ou, Williams, Wolfe) along with the junior college signee (Figueroa) and the Australian enrollee (Griffiths). All will participate in the upcoming spring practice. The other nine December signees will join the Trojan program in the fall along with today's signees.

FORD—He made 2018 PrepStar Dream Team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Orange County Register Fab 15 first team as a senior wide receiver at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High. He had 29 catches for 456 yards (15.7 avg) with 7 TDs in 2018 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. As a junior in 2017, he made the MaxPreps Junior All-American second team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors first team, All-CIF Division 1, Orange County Register All-Orange County first team and All-Trinity League first team as he had 91 catches for 1,468 yards (16.1 avg) with 13 TDs. He spent his first 2 years at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.). As a 2016 sophomore, he had 52 catches for 950 yards (18.3 avg).
HEWETT—He made the 2018 PrepStar All-Midlands Region and All-District 21-6A first team as a senior safety and cornerback at North Shore Senior High in Houston (Tex.). North Shore won the 2018 Texas Class 6A Division I state championship. He also ran track at North Shore, with a best of 10.73 in the 100 meters.
MAKAULA—He made the 2018 USA Today All-Hawaii second team, PrepStar All-Western Region and Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State second teamas a senior safety and cornerback at Punahou School in Honolulu (Hi.). He also played basketball for 4 seasons at Punahou, averaging 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 109. His name is pronounced "cow-LAWN-uh muh-COW-luh."
NOMURA—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, All-CIF Division 1, Los Angeles Times All-Area, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area first team and All-Big VIII League Co-MVP as a senior safety at Centennial High in Corona (Calif.). He had 91 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 3.5 sacks), plus an interception for a TD, 2 deflections, a blocked punt and a forced fumble in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made All-Big VIII League first team as he had 61 tackles and 3 deflections. As a 2016 sophomore, he had 6 tackles and 3 deflections. Current Trojan Drake Jackson and incoming Trojan Jayden Williams also prepped at Centennial. His name is pronounced "too-ah-SEE-vee no-MUR-uh."
OTEY—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Southeast Region, Tennessean All-Midstate second team and All-Region 3-6A Athlete of the Year as a senior cornerback, safety, running back, wide receiver and quarterback at Blackman High in Murfreesboro (Tenn.). In 2018, he had 5 tackles and an interception on defense, ran for 667 yards on 65 carries (10.3 avg) with 8 TDs, caught 13 passes for 380 yards (29.2 avg) with 5 TDs and completed 8-of-14 passes (57.1%) for 65 yards with a TD on offense and returned 3 punts for 105 yards (35.0 avg) with 1 TD and had a 46-yard kickoff return. As a 2017 junior, he made All-Region 3-6A as he ran for 131 yards on 21 carries (10.9 avg) with 4 TDs, caught 6 passes for 124 yards (20.4 avg) with 2 TDs and completed a 7-yard pass on offense and made 22 tackles on defense. He also sprinted (11.06 best in the 100 meters) and long jumped on Blackman's track team. He spent his 2016 sophomore season at Franklin Road Academy in Nashville (Tenn.). WATSON—He made 2018 JC Athletic Bureau All-American first team, PrepStar JC All-American, All-State Region III first team and All-Northern Conference first team as a 2018 sophomore defensive back at Ventura (Calif.) Junior College. In 2018, he had 43 tackles, 13 deflections, 4 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery, plus returned 10 punts for 163 yards (16.3 avg). Ventura won the Southern California Football Association championship (he was named Defensive Player of the Game) and advanced to the state championship game. As a 2017 freshman, he made JC Athletic Bureau All-American, All-State Region III first team and All-Northern Conference first team as he had 30 tackles (with a sack) and 4 interceptions. He made 2016 All-Region 4-AA Offensive Player of the Year as a senior wide receiver and defensive back at Lucy C. Laney High in Augusta (Ga.). He also played basketball at Laney.
J. WILLIAMS—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region and All-Big VIII League Co-MVP as a senior defensive back at Centennial High in Corona (Calif.). He had 44 tackles, 2 interceptions (1 for a TD), 6 deflections, a forced fumble and a blocked field goal in 2018. ALLEN—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Southeast Region as a senior safety at IMG Academy in Bradenton (Fla.). He had 21 tackles and 3 deflections in 2018. He spent his first 3 seasons at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando (Fla.), playing safety and wide receiver. As a junior in 2017, he made FloridaHSFootball.com All-State first team (as a utility player) as he had 71 tackles and a forced fumble on defense, caught 11 passes for 238 yards (21.6 avg) with 3 TDs and ran for 24 yards on 3 carries (8.0 avg) on offense and had 4 punt returns for 102 yards (25.5 avg) with a TD and 6 kickoff returns for 50 yards (8.3 avg). As a 2016 sophomore, he had 29 tackles on defense, 6 catches for 179 yards (29.8 avg) with 1 TD and 3 carries for 113 yards (37.7 avg) with 1 TD on offense. FIGUEROA—He made 2018 PrepStar JC All-American and All-Southern California Football Association National Southern League Defensive Player of the Year as a redshirt freshman defensive end from Riverside (Calif.) City College. He had 38 tackles, including 19.5 for losses (with 11.5 sacks), in 2018. He redshirted as a freshman defensive end at Cal Poly in 2017. As a 2016 senior defensive end and tight end at Cajon High in San Bernardino (Calif.) in his only season playing football, he made All-Citrus Belt League as he had 86 tackles, including 19 for loss (with 12 sacks), plus 3 deflections, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. He also played baseball at Cajon. His last name is pronounced "fig-uh-ROE-uh."
GOFORTH—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, All-CIF Division 1, Los Angeles Times All-Area and Long Beach Press-Telegram All-Area first team as a senior outside linebacker at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower (Calif.). He had 103 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 6 sacks), plus 3 deflections and a fumble recovery in 2018. St. John Bosco advanced to the 2018 CIF Division 1 championship game. As a 2017 junior, he had 44 tackles, 4 deflections and a fumble recovery. As a 2016 sophomore, he had 64 tackles, 2 deflections, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble on defense and 27 yards on 8 carries (3.4 avg) and a 4-yard reception on offense. GRIFFITHS—He played forward for 8 seasons (2010-17) for the Richmond Tigers, a professional Australian rules football team in the Australian Football League. He was the team's second round draft pick in 2009. He played in 63 games in his career, getting 42 goals. He retired in early 2018 because of injuries and concussions. He then trained to punt with Prokick Australia, an Australian-based kicking academy. He studied at the Trade Institute of Victoria (getting a building construction certificate) and Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. He has volunteered with the Australian Working Dog Rescue. At 27, he is one of the oldest Trojans ever (born Sept. 17, 1991).
JACKSON—He made 2018 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team, All-CIF Division 1, Orange County Register Fab 15 first team, Los Angeles Times All-Area, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area first team and All-Big VIII League Co-MVP as a senior defensive end at Centennial High in Corona (Calif.). He had 27 tackles, including 5 for losses (with 3.5 sacks), plus 6 deflections and 3 fumble recoveries (1 for a TD) in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors first team, All-CIF Division 1, Riverside Press Enterprise All-Area first team and All-Big VIII League Defensive Lineman of the Year as he had 28 tackles, including 6 sacks, plus an interception, 3 deflections and a forced fumble. QUINONES—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State first team and USA Today All-Hawaii second team as a senior defensive lineman at Saint Louis School in Honolulu (Hi.). Current Trojan Jordan Iosefa also prepped at Saint Louis. He also played basketball at Saint Louis. His name is pronounced "GEE-noe cue-NOE-nez."
SLOVIS—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, USA Today All-Arizona honorable mention and Sports360AZ All-Academic honorable mentionas a senior quarterback at Desert Mountain High in Scottsdale (Ariz.). He completed 183-of-294 passes (62.2%) for 2,542 yards with 18 TDs and 6 interceptions in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made USA Today All-Arizona honorable mention as he completed 251-of-392 passes (64.0%) for 2,987 yards and 32 TDs with 5 interceptions. His quarterbacks coach at Desert Mountain was NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner. His name is pronounced "KEED-un SLOW-vis."
TA'UFO'OU—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, All-CIF Division 4 Defensive Player of the Year, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Camino League Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior linebacker and running back at Grace Brethren High in Simi Valley (Calif.). In 2018, he had 97 tackles, including 17 for losses (with 9.5 sacks), 6 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a deflection on defense, ran for 166 yards on 24 carries (11.1 avg) with 2 TD and had a 12-yard reception on offense and had a 16-yard kickoff return. As a junior in 2017, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors first team, All-CIF Division 1 and South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay first team as he had 27 tackles, 7 deflections, 3 interceptions (2 for TDs), 2 blocked field goals, a fumble recovery (for a TD) and a forced fumble on defense, caught 16 passes for 150 yards (9.4 avg) on offense and returned 16 punts (1 for a TD) for 266 yards (16.6 avg) and 15 kickoffs for 305 yards (20.3 avg). As a 2016 sophomore, he made the Cal-Hi Sports All-State Sophomores first team, All-CIF Division 1, South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay first team and All-Mission League first team as he had 24 tackles, 4 deflections and 2 interceptions along with 25 receptions for 278 yards (11.1 avg) with 2 TDs and a punt return for a TD. He had 14 catches for 225 yards (16.1 avg) with 7 TDs in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he had 9 receptions for 113 yards (12.6 avg) with 3 TDs. As a 2016 sophomore, he had a 21-yard catch. CHRISTON—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team and All-CIF San Diego first team as senior running back and cornerback at Madison High in San Diego (Calif.). He ran for 980 yards on 127 carries (7.7 avg) with 11 TD and caught 9 passes for 122 yards (13.6 avg) with 1 TD in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made All-CIF San Diego second team as he ran for 1,233 yards on 111 carries (11.1 avg) with 16 TDs and caught 6 passes for 107 yards (17.8 avg) with 1 TD. As a 2016 sophomore, he rushed for 829 yards on 100 carries (8.3 avg) with 9 TDs, caught 3 passes for 29 yards (9.7 avg) with 1 TD, returned 13 kickoffs for 330 yards (25.4 avg) with 1 TD and made 6 tackles. He also ran track at Madison, with bests of 10.58 in the 100 meters, 21.20 in the 200 meters and 23-9.5 in the long jump. DAVIS—A knee injury forced him to miss most of his 2018 senior season but he made PrepStar All-Western Region and Tacoma News Tribune Northwest Nuggets Best of the Rest at cornerback at Federal Way (Wash.) High. He had 30 tackles, including 8 for a loss, as a 2017 junior. He also ran track at Federal Way, with a best of 10.94 in the 100 meters and 22.73 in the 200 meters. He helped the 400-meter relay team win the 2018 State 4A title. His full first name is Treyvon.
LIVAI—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, All-L.A. City Offensive Lineman of the Year and South Bay Daily Breeze All-Area first team as a senior offensive lineman at Narbonne High in Harbor City (Calif.). Narbonne won the 2018 L.A. City title. He previously played at Hilo (Hi.) High, where as a 2017 junior he made All-Big Island Scholastic Federation and helped Hilo win the Hawaii Division 1 state championship. He also was on Hilo's track team (shot put and discus throw).
LONDON—He made 2018 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team, All-CIF Division 3, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Camino League Co-Wide Receiver of the Year as a senior wide receiver at Moorpark (Calif.) High. He had 62 catches for 1,089 yards (17.6 avg) with 12 TDs in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors third team, All-CIF Division 5 and Los Angeles Daily News All-Area second team as he had 51 receptions for 1,032 yards (20.2 avg) with 11 TDs, plus he rushed 5 times for 123 yards (24.6 avg) and threw a 14-yard TD pass. He also played basketball at Moorpark. He averaged 19.8 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists as a 2018 junior.
McCLAIN—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region and Orange County Register All-Orange County second team as a senior wide receiver at JSerra Catholic High in San Juan Capistrano (Calif.). He had 40 receptions for 659 yards (16.5 avg) with 10 TDs in 2018, although he missed the first half of the season while recovering from a 2017 knee injury. As a junior in 2017, he caught 19 passes for 390 yards (20.5 avg) with 4 TDs and also had an 11-yard kickoff return before suffering a mid-season knee injury. He also played basketball at JSerra. His brother, Abdul-Malik, is a redshirt freshman outside linebacker at USC. His first name is pronounced "moo-NEER."
RAE—He made 2018 PrepStar All-American and Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 as a senior tight end at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High. He had 7 catches for 58 yards (8.3 avg) on offense and 19 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries on defense in 2018. He was sidelined as a 2017 junior with a torn knee ligament. As a junior in 2017, he made USA Today All-Hawaii second team. He also played basketball at Punahou. Of those December signees, eight graduated early from high school and enrolled at USC in January (Allen, Goforth, Jackson, Quinones, Slovis, Ta'ufo'ou, Williams, Wolfe) along with the junior college signee (Figueroa) and the Australian enrollee (Griffiths). All will participate in the upcoming spring practice. The other nine December signees will join the Trojan program in the fall along with today's signees.

FORD—He made 2018 PrepStar Dream Team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Orange County Register Fab 15 first team as a senior wide receiver at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High. He had 29 catches for 456 yards (15.7 avg) with 7 TDs in 2018 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. As a junior in 2017, he made the MaxPreps Junior All-American second team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors first team, All-CIF Division 1, Orange County Register All-Orange County first team and All-Trinity League first team as he had 91 catches for 1,468 yards (16.1 avg) with 13 TDs. He spent his first 2 years at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.). As a 2016 sophomore, he had 52 catches for 950 yards (18.3 avg).
HEWETT—He made the 2018 PrepStar All-Midlands Region and All-District 21-6A first team as a senior safety and cornerback at North Shore Senior High in Houston (Tex.). North Shore won the 2018 Texas Class 6A Division I state championship. He also ran track at North Shore, with a best of 10.73 in the 100 meters.
MAKAULA—He made the 2018 USA Today All-Hawaii second team, PrepStar All-Western Region and Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State second teamas a senior safety and cornerback at Punahou School in Honolulu (Hi.). He also played basketball for 4 seasons at Punahou, averaging 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 109. His name is pronounced "cow-LAWN-uh muh-COW-luh."
NOMURA—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, All-CIF Division 1, Los Angeles Times All-Area, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area first team and All-Big VIII League Co-MVP as a senior safety at Centennial High in Corona (Calif.). He had 91 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 3.5 sacks), plus an interception for a TD, 2 deflections, a blocked punt and a forced fumble in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made All-Big VIII League first team as he had 61 tackles and 3 deflections. As a 2016 sophomore, he had 6 tackles and 3 deflections. OTEY—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Southeast Region, Tennessean All-Midstate second team and All-Region 3-6A Athlete of the Year as a senior cornerback, safety, running back, wide receiver and quarterback at Blackman High in Murfreesboro (Tenn.). In 2018, he had 5 tackles and an interception on defense, ran for 667 yards on 65 carries (10.3 avg) with 8 TDs, caught 13 passes for 380 yards (29.2 avg) with 5 TDs and completed 8-of-14 passes (57.1%) for 65 yards with a TD on offense and returned 3 punts for 105 yards (35.0 avg) with 1 TD and had a 46-yard kickoff return. As a 2017 junior, he made All-Region 3-6A as he ran for 131 yards on 21 carries (10.9 avg) with 4 TDs, caught 6 passes for 124 yards (20.4 avg) with 2 TDs and completed a 7-yard pass on offense and made 22 tackles on defense. He also sprinted (11.06 best in the 100 meters) and long jumped on Blackman's track team. He spent his 2016 sophomore season at Franklin Road Academy in Nashville (Tenn.). WATSON—He made 2018 JC Athletic Bureau All-American first team, PrepStar JC All-American, All-State Region III first team and All-Northern Conference first team as a 2018 sophomore defensive back at Ventura (Calif.) Junior College. In 2018, he had 43 tackles, 13 deflections, 4 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery, plus returned 10 punts for 163 yards (16.3 avg). Ventura won the Southern California Football Association championship (he was named Defensive Player of the Game) and advanced to the state championship game. As a 2017 freshman, he made JC Athletic Bureau All-American, All-State Region III first team and All-Northern Conference first team as he had 30 tackles (with a sack) and 4 interceptions. He made 2016 All-Region 4-AA Offensive Player of the Year as a senior wide receiver and defensive back at Lucy C. Laney High in Augusta (Ga.). He also played basketball at Laney.

GRIFFITHS—He played forward for 8 seasons (2010-17) for the Richmond Tigers, a professional Australian rules football team in the Australian Football League. He was the team's second round draft pick in 2009. He played in 63 games in his career, getting 42 goals. He retired in early 2018 because of injuries and concussions. He then trained to punt with Prokick Australia, an Australian-based kicking academy. He studied at the Trade Institute of Victoria (getting a building construction certificate) and Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. He has volunteered with the Australian Working Dog Rescue. At 27, he is one of the oldest Trojans ever (born Sept. 17, 1991).

SLOVIS—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, USA Today All-Arizona honorable mention and Sports360AZ All-Academic honorable mentionas a senior quarterback at Desert Mountain High in Scottsdale (Ariz.). He completed 183-of-294 passes (62.2%) for 2,542 yards with 18 TDs and 6 interceptions in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made USA Today All-Arizona honorable mention as he completed 251-of-392 passes (64.0%) for 2,987 yards and 32 TDs with 5 interceptions. His quarterbacks coach at Desert Mountain was NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner. His name is pronounced "KEED-un SLOW-vis."
TA'UFO'OU—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, All-CIF Division 4 Defensive Player of the Year, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Camino League Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior linebacker and running back at Grace Brethren High in Simi Valley (Calif.). As a junior in 2017, he had 36 tackles, including 2 for losses (with a sack), plus a fumble recovery and a deflection.
CHRISTON—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team and All-CIF San Diego first team as senior running back and cornerback at Madison High in San Diego (Calif.). He ran for 980 yards on 127 carries (7.7 avg) with 11 TD and caught 9 passes for 122 yards (13.6 avg) with 1 TD in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made All-CIF San Diego second team as he ran for 1,233 yards on 111 carries (11.1 avg) with 16 TDs and caught 6 passes for 107 yards (17.8 avg) with 1 TD. As a 2016 sophomore, he rushed for 829 yards on 100 carries (8.3 avg) with 9 TDs, caught 3 passes for 29 yards (9.7 avg) with 1 TD, returned 13 kickoffs for 330 yards (25.4 avg) with 1 TD and made 6 tackles. DAVIS—A knee injury forced him to miss most of his 2018 senior season but he made PrepStar All-Western Region and Tacoma News Tribune Northwest Nuggets Best of the Rest at cornerback at Federal Way (Wash.) High. He had 30 tackles, including 8 for a loss, as a 2017 junior. He also ran track at Federal Way, with a best of 10.94 in the 100 meters and 22.73 in the 200 meters. He helped the 400-meter relay team win the 2018 State 4A title. His full first name is Treyvon.
LIVAI—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, All-L.A. City Offensive Lineman of the Year and South Bay Daily Breeze All-Area first team as a senior offensive lineman at Narbonne High in Harbor City (Calif.). Narbonne won the 2018 L.A. City title. He previously played at Hilo (Hi.) High, where as a 2017 junior he made All-Big Island Scholastic Federation and helped Hilo win the Hawaii Division 1 state championship. He also was on Hilo's track team (shot put and discus throw).
LONDON—He made 2018 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team, All-CIF Division 3, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Camino League Co-Wide Receiver of the Year as a senior wide receiver at Moorpark (Calif.) High. He had 62 catches for 1,089 yards (17.6 avg) with 12 TDs in 2018. As a junior in 2017, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors third team, All-CIF Division 5 and Los Angeles Daily News All-Area second team as he had 51 receptions for 1,032 yards (20.2 avg) with 11 TDs, plus he rushed 5 times for 123 yards (24.6 avg) and threw a 14-yard TD pass. He also played basketball at Moorpark. He averaged 19.8 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists as a 2018 junior.
McCLAIN—He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region and Orange County Register All-Orange County second team as a senior wide receiver at JSerra Catholic High in San Juan Capistrano (Calif.). He had 40 receptions for 659 yards (16.5 avg) with 10 TDs in 2018, although he missed the first half of the season while recovering from a 2017 knee injury. As a junior in 2017, he caught 19 passes for 390 yards (20.5 avg) with 4 TDs and also had an 11-yard kickoff return before suffering a mid-season knee injury. He also played basketball at JSerra. His brother, Abdul-Malik, is a redshirt freshman outside linebacker at USC. His first name is pronounced "moo-NEER."
RAE—He made 2018 PrepStar All-American and Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 as a senior tight end at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High. He had 7 catches for 58 yards (8.3 avg) on offense and 19 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries on defense in 2018. He was sidelined as a 2017 junior with a torn knee ligament. He spent his 2016 sophomore season at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.), getting 13 catches for 192 yards (14.8 avg) with 2 TDs. He also played basketball and baseball at Servite.
