Six Trojans to compete this Friday and Saturday
The Trojans will see action on the boards this weekend as they travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, to compete against the Utah Utes, BYU and Air Force, at the Utah Diving Invitational this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 6-7) at the Ute Natatorium.
Six Trojans will represent USC during the invite including four women's divers -- seniors Carly Souza and Naomi Gowlett and freshmen Nike Agunbiade and Savannah Stocker. Two USC men's divers will also compete – senior Henry Fusaro and freshman George Korovin. All six divers have already posted NCAA qualifying scores this season.
The meet will begin at 11 a.m. (MT) on Friday with the women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter events taking place simultaneously. Finals will start at 6:30 p.m. (MT), first with the men's 3-meter followed by women's 1-meter. Competition will continue Saturday with the women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter events starting at 10 a.m. (MT).
USC last competed at the Trojan Diving Invitational held November where the Women of Troy dominated competition, sweeping 3-meter and platform. Agunbiade won both the 3-meter and platform while on men's side, Fusaro won 3-meter and 1-meter. Korovin took the men's platform and finished third on 1-meter.
