12 USC Women's Soccer Players Named to Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll

LOS ANGELES – The Pac-12 announced its Fall Academic Honor Roll this week and 12 USC women's soccer players earned the honor.
The Fall Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in the conference-sponsored sports of men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball. Any student-athlete with a 3.3 GPA or better, who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible to receive the academic honor.
The 12 Trojan soccer players named to the list leads all USC teams and is tied for fifth among women's soccer programs in the conference.
The honor roll list caps a week of academic honors for USC players, with Ashleigh Plumptre and Penelope Hocking named to the Academic All-West Region team and Plumptre also named a Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. Included on the list are four players who earned All-Pac-12 honors (Plumptre, Hocking, Jalen Woodward and Kaylin Martin), three who earned All-Region recognition (Plumptre, Hocking and Woodward) and one Freshman All-American (Martin).
This is the first year the Pac-12 has done the Academic Honor Roll instead of selecting All-Academic teams for each sport.
