Trojans Hold Annual T&F Out Of The Blocks Banquet

2019 award winners and 2020 Heritage Award selections announced
The 2019 USC Track & Field Award winners were announced as were the 2020 Heritage Award selections Aaron Brown and Mike Larrabee at the annual Out of the Blocks Banquet at the Town and Gown on the Trojans' campus on Dec. 1. The Heritage Awards are given out annually to recognize those individuals who have contributed to the great tradition of track and field at USC.
Brown, a native of Canada, was a six-time All-American sprinter for the Trojans from 2011-14 and ranks fifth on USC's all-time 100m list and seventh on its all-time 200m list. He competed for Canada at the 2016 Olympics in the 100m and 200m and earned a bronze medal in the 4x100m relay.
Larrabee, who passed away in 2003, was an All-American sprinter for USC from 1954-56, placing fifth in the 440-yard race in 1954. He won the 400m dash gold medal at the 1964 Olympics and also captured gold as part of USA's 4x400m relay. He was inducted into the National Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2003.
Anglerne "Angie" Annelus and Matthew Katnik were named the Most Valuable Athletes of the 2019 team. The following is a list of all the award winners at this year's Out of the Blocks Banquet:
