Fusaro Shines on Day One of Trojan Diving Invitational

Senior Henry Fusaro topped the college divers in the men's 3-meter to highlight the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday (Nov. 8) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center. Teammates Freshman Savannah Stocker and senior Naomi Gowlett finished 2-3 in the women's 1-meter.
Stocker completed the 1-meter with 562.61 combined points, 273.65 from prelims. Gowlett was second with 554.27 points, 269.45 coming in prelims. Freshman Nike Agunbiade finished fourth with 552.16 while senior teammate Carly Souza rounded out fifth place for the Women of Troy with 547.72. Ruby Neave of UCLA took first on 1-meter for the women with 470.50.
Fusaro took the 3-meter with 747.00 points, 361.85 coming in prelims. Freshman George Korovin was fourth overall with 560.00.
Day two of the three-day Diving Invitational continues tomorrow with women's 3-meter and men's platform with 11:00 a.m. prelims and 12:30 p.m. finals.
