Ali In Hurdles, Ellis & Felix In 4x400m Relay Advance At 2019 World Championships

Nia Ali advanced to the women's 100m hurdles semifinals and Kendall Ellis and Allyson Felix advanced to the women's 4x400m relay finals at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar today (Oct. 5).
Ali won the first heat of the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 12.59 (+0.3) to automatically advance to the semifinal tomorrow. Ali's time was fourth among the qualifiers.
Felix ran the second leg and Ellis the third for USA's women's 4x400m relay which posted a world-leading time of 3:22.96 to advance to tomorrow's event final.
