Trojan Wish: Kailyn Anderson

This weekend, USC's Trojan Outreach program hosted its first Trojan Wish of the 2018 USC football season.
Kailyn Anderson, a young girl who was recently diagnosed with leukemia, got a special behind-the-scenes look at USC Athletics while the football team played UNLV.
She and her parents were invited to tour USC's campus landmarks, including Heritage Hall and the Tommy Trojan statue, in addition to being treated to a free, fun meal at the Cardinal and Gold tailgate outside of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
Kailyn and her family got to experience USC's pregame festivities from the sideline, and met and took a picture with the world famous USC Song Girls. The family then took their seats to watch the Trojans beat UNLV, 43-21.
Kailyn receives daily and monthly chemotherapy as well as lumbar punctures and bone marrow tests to ensure that she is doing well. Her family is looking forward to her returning to school to pick up where she left off a year ago.
