19 Trojans Named To Pac-12 All-Academic Teams

Myrtue & Cockrell selected first team all-academic by the conference
The USC track and field team had 19 athletes named to 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic teams, led by the first-team selections of Matthew Myrtue and Anna Cockrell it was announced by the Conference today (June 7). To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, be either a starter or significant contributor, and have completed at least one year in residence at their current institution.
The sophomore Myrtue, with a 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) in Computer Science and Business Administration, was named to the Pac-12 Men's All-Academic first team. Nick Ponzio, a senior with a 3.67 GPA in Psychology, was named the Pac-12 All-Academic second team.
Trojan men named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention were T.J. Brock, Nathan Bultman, Jason Kim, Michael Norman and Christian Sourapas.
Sophomore Anna Cockrell, who has a 4.0 GPA in Communications and Political Science, was named to the Pac-12 Women's All-Academic first team.
Trojan women named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention were Courtney Corrin, Kendall Ellis, Amber Gore, Alexa Harmon-Thomas, Deanna Hill, Margaux Jones, Lauren Maurer, Colette Putnam, Madisen Richards, Madison Ricks and Kamryn Weber.
