This weekend, USC men's basketball alums Chimezie Metu and De'Anthony Melton participated in the 2018 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago.
Metu measured in at 6-foot-8.5 and 219.5 lbs. with a wingspan of 7-feet-0.5. Metu shined in the NBA Top Key shooting drill, hitting 100 percent of his shots from that spot. He was one of just three players to do so. Metu is projected as a first or second round pick in most NBA Mock Drafts.
Melton stood at 6-foot-2.25 and weighed 193.2 lbs. with a wingspan of 6-feet-8.5, which was considered impressive for a guard. Melton stood out on defense, forcing an eight-second violation during one of the scrimmage portions of the Combine. Melton is considered a first round pick in most NBA Mock Drafts.
The 2018 NBA Draft takes place on Thursday, June 21 at the Barclay Center in New York.
