LOS ANGELES – The fifth-ranked USC beach volleyball team (22-10) earned a pair of 3-2 wins on Senior Day at Merle Norman Stadium on Tuesday, April 17, to complete the regular-season schedule. The Women of Troy celebrated seniors Jenna Belton and Jo Kremer in pre-match ceremonies and finished the day with wins over No. 6 Long Beach State (23-5) and No. 16 Grand Canyon (11-16).
USC claimed wins at the odd-numbered courts against the 49ers. At the bottom of the lineup, freshman Haley Hallgren and senior Alexandra Poletto weathered the storm of a three-set match to defeat Hannah Matt and Marisa Ramsey, 21-16, 20-22, 15-13.

At the top court, junior Abril Bustamante and freshman Tina Graudina took a 21-18, 21-18 win against Nele Barber and Sasha Karelov to seal the victory.
In the second of back-to-back duals, Hallgren and Poletto fell to Jessica Clark and Jamie Walsh, 21-12, 22-20, at court five; but senior Jenna Belton and freshman Maja Kaiser took down Katie Pyles and Madi Relaz, 21-15, 21-19, to even the dual from court four.

It was the Trojans' third straight dual win and the first two at home this spring, after suffering three 3-2 losses earlier in the season. Bustamante and Graudina continued to roll and ran their win streak to 15 straight. They are now 24-1 on the season.
