Six Trojans Pick Up ACWPC All-Academic Honors

USC men's water polo has landed six Trojans on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches' academic honor roll for 2017. Four of those Trojans have earned the ACWPC All-Academic accolades for the past three seasons, while two now have back-to-back awards.

Three-time honorees Brock Hudnut, Tim Leong, Mihajlo Milicevic and Matteo Morelli have upheld at least a 3.2 GPA for the past three years. Redshirt junior Tim Leong leads the pack, as the business - cinematic arts major grips a 3.67 GPA, just ahead of redshirt senior Hudnut — an industrial systems engineering major with a 3.64 GPA — and senior Milicevic, a native of Serbia who finishes his business degree this year while holding a 3.62 GPA. Another international completing a degree in business, Italian senior Matteo Morelli, boasts a 3.42 GPA. Redshirt sophomore Daniel Leong is another high-achieving business major, holding a 3.4 GPA to grab his second ACWPC All-Academic award. So, too, has senior Blake Edwards secured back-to-back honors, standing out with a 3.41 GPA as a communication major.
