Ashleigh Plumptre Named to Academic All-District Team

LOS ANGELES – The Google Cloud Women's Soccer Academic All-District Teams were announced recently and USC junior defender Ashleigh Plumptre was named to the District 8 second team.
Plumptre, a human biology major, has a 3.76 GPA and has helped the Trojans to a 16-2-2 record this season. Plumptre has appeared in 18 games this season, scoring two goals and posting one assist, all while helping the Trojans to 14 shutouts on the back line.
The British import hailing from Nottinghamshire, England, was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention list last season. She hopes to work in sports medicine after graduation.
For her career, Plumptre has appeared in a total of 52 games, helping USC to three straight postseason appearances, including a national championship in 2016.
