Dasic Earns Silver With Croatia At FINA Junior Worlds

Sophomore returns to his Trojan teammates with a medal earned in Belgrade.
USC sophomore Marin Dasic will bring some hardware back to Troy after a successful summer's work. As a member of the Croatian Junior National Team, Dasic won a silver medal at the 2017 FINA Junior World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
Croatia's only loss of the tournament came in the gold-medal match, and it took a penalty shootout to decide the final color of its medal. Dasic punched up one of those shootout goals for the Croatians, but Greece would wind up prevailing down the stretch. Including his shootout strike, Dasic provided five goals for Croatia during the tournament.
Dasic was USC's fifth leading scorer as a freshman last year. He'll return to his Trojan teammates this week for the start of USC's official practice stretch running up to the start of the 2017 season in early September.
