Felix Earns Gold With USA's 4x400m Relay, Her Record 16th Career World Championship Medal

Allyson Felix earned her record-16th World Championships medal as part of USA's gold-medal winning 4x400m relay team at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, England today (Aug. 13).
- Felix (USC, 2008) ran the second leg for USA's 4x400m relay which won the gold medal by nearly six seconds with a world-leading time of 3:19.02. Felix took the baton with the slightest of leads, but immediately stormed away from the pack, cut in at the break with a big lead and built an insurmountable margin for the USA team. Felix earned her 16th career World Championships medal, the most by any athlete. She won her 15th medal to become the all-time leader in the women's 4x100m final, also won by the U.S.
- Kendall Ellis (USC, 2018) earned an individual gold for her part in the 4x400m relay semifinals for team USA.
