Eighteen-year-old Jayleen and his family watched the USC women's basketball game vs. Oregon on Friday night as part of USC's Trojan Wish program.
Jayleen was diagnosed with a mild case of autism at the age of two and by four years old he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Jayleen lost his ability to walk at age 10 and has been in a power wheelchair ever since.
Recently, an organization called Walking Strong gifted the Cox family a wheelchair accessible 2016 Dodge Caravan minivan, allowing them to take their son out to places that weren't possible after he became wheelchair-bound.
This included Friday night's women's basketball game, where Jayleen got a pair of USC sunglasses and a fanny pack, met USC's Song Girls, participated in the high five line and player intros, and watched the game courtside with his family.
