No. 2 USC Finishes Third At Bruin Wave Invitational

Freshman Muni He tied for seventh while senior Victoria Morgan tied for 15th to lead the No. 2 USC women's golf team to third place on Tuesday (Feb. 28) to complete a challenging three rounds at the Bruin Wave Invitational at the San Luis Obispo (Calif.) C.C. on Monday.
The Trojans finished at 37-over 913 (300-307-306), 11 back of top-ranked Stanford and 10 shy of No. 9 UCLA for its fourth top 3 finish this season in five starts, which includes two wins.
He, in her second start, led the Trojans at 6-over 225 (73-78-74) and birdied two late holes to secure her first top 10 finish. Morgan closed at 12-over 231 (77-79-75) for her third straight top 15.
Senior Gabriella Then tied for 22nd at 14-over 233 (75-74-84), senior Tiffany Chan tied for 31st at 17-over 236 (75-81-80) and freshman Allisen Corpuz tied for 42nd at 20-over 239 (86-76-77).
USC returns to action March 13-14 at the UCLA Gifford Great 8 Match Play at the Brentwood (Calif) C.C.
