Brandon Holt Falls At Oracle ITA National Fall Championships

Trojan sophomore took a loss today to wrap his run at the event.
PALM DESERT, CALIF. — USC sophomore Brandon Holt saw his run at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships come to a close today in Palm Desert in taking a loss in the singles Round go 32.
The No. 2 seed in the singles draw, Holt pinned up a straight-set win in yesterday's Round of 64 to move into today's Round of 32. There, the Trojan sophomore, ranked #11 in the nation, went up against Florida State's #50 Lucas Poullain to fight for advancement to the next round. The Seminole was up the challenge in this one, topping Holt 6-3, 6-4 in Palm Desert to take the ticket to the Round of 16 away from the Trojan.
Holt's fall competition is far from done, however, The sophomore has been named to the USA team heading to France at the end of the month to compete at the Master'U BNP Paribas International Collegiate Team Competition.
