LOS ANGELES--Amanda Sutrick of Hartland, Wis. has signed a national letter of intent with the USC women's rowing team head coach

"During our search for women who fit our family culture and program performance goals, Amanda showed herself to be a great match for USC women's rowing," said Adam. "We can't wait for Amanda to be a part of the Trojan Rowing Family."

The 5-10 Sutrick has rowed for the Milwaukee Rowing Club for two years, and quickly rose to compete at a high level after earning a spot on the club's Varsity 8+ after one month.

During the summer of 2017, she was invited to the U.S. Jr. National Team Selection Camp where she was selected to be a member of the United State's CanAmMex team that competed at the 2017 CanAmMex Regatta where her boats won gold in both the 8+ and the 4+ against Canada and Mexico. She also competed at the 2017 USRowing Club Nationals where she brought home two silver medals and one bronze.

In 2016, Sutrick was invited to attend the U.S. Jr. National Team High Performance Camp. She also won gold and bronze medals at the 2016 USRowing Club National Championships.

Sutrick will arrive in the fall of 2018 ready to contribute to the Women of Troy.
