USC Heads To NCAA Track & Field Indoor Championships

Three men and five women will represent the USC track and field program at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships being held at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama on March 11-12.
Entering the championships, USC's men's team is ranked No. 9 and the women's team is ranked No. 12. Competing for USC's men's team will be sophomore Randall Cunningham in the high jump, sophomore Nick Ponzio in the shot put and junior Eric Sloan in the long jump and triple jump.
USC's women's team will be represented by sophomore Kendall Ellis (4x400m), Deanna Hill (200m and 4x400m), junior Amalie Iuel (pentathlon and 4x400m), freshman Margaux Jones (long jump) and senior Jaide Stepter (400m and 4x400m).
On the first day of the championships (March 11), the men will have Cunningham competing in the high jump and Sloan in the long jump, while the women in action will be Hill in the 200m, Iuel in the pentathlon, Jones in the long jump and Stepter in the 400m.
Athletes which ranked in the top 16 individually and the top 12 relay teams qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
