Trojans Fright On

USC Athletics was well represented at the campus community Spirits at Troy Halloween carnival on McCarthy Quad last week as 15 student-athletes displayed their love of sport and community. Representatives from USC’s track & field, rowing, swim, women’s basketball and football teams showed up to share their evening with hundreds of local kids.
The event, coordinated by the USC Residential Student Government for the past decade, provides a safe trick-or-treat environment for the university's neighbors, and a fun Halloween activity for campus organizations. The Trojan teams hosted tables where children and families could partake in games and get their fill of sugary treats. The student-athletes even brought out a few footballs and awarded prizes for the best throws of the evening.
Spirits at Troy ran from 6 PM- 9 PM and entertained children in costume dressed as a wide range of characters toting buckets ready to be filled.
With Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas gift drives on the horizon, Trojan student-athletes are off to a great start sharing their holiday spirit with the Los Angeles community.
