
Berdousi Leads USC At Pac-12 Cross Country Championships

Katerina Berdousi finished 57th in the scoring to lead USC at the 2015 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships hosted by Washington State at the Colfax Golf Course in Colfax, Wash. today (Oct. 30). The Trojans finished the 6K race in 12th place. The Pac-12 Cross Country Championships will be broadcast on a delayed basis as two 30-minute shows on the Pac-12 Network on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m., with Jim Watson, Dwight Stones and Lewis Johnson calling the action.
The senior Berdousi had the Trojans' best time of 21:43.0 to finish 67th overall (57th in the scoring). Not far behind her was redshirt sophomore Rebekah Ent running in her first Pac-12 Championship race and she finished 80th (66th in scoring) with a time of 22:04.08.
There was nearly a 49-second gap to USC's next finisher, senior Jenna Tong who had a time of 22:53.5 to place 97th (77th in scoring). Right behind her was freshman Amber Gore with a time of 22:59.3 to place 100th (80th in scoring). Gore along with fellow true freshmen Mikaela Smith and Rachel Glynn were running their first career 6K races. Smith had a time of 24.00.0 (104th/81st in scoring) and Glynn a time of 24.16.2 (106th/83rd in scoring).
