Morris Leads Quartet Of Trojans At Matador Invitational

Senior Rachel Morris used a final-round 74 to tie for fourth and lead three Trojans in the top 8 during the final day of the Matador Golf Invitational at the Wood Ranch G.C. in Simi Valley, Calif., on Tuesday (Feb. 11).

Morris finished at 8-over 224 (75-75-74). Starting on the 10th hole, she opened with a 2-over back 9 but was par the rest of the way, including a birdie on her final hole.

Sophomore Victoria Morgan tied for sixth at 9-over 225 (72-72-81) while sophomore Kim Santiago took eighth at 11-over 227 (78-71-78). Sophomore Ellie Chai tied for 32nd at 27-over 243 (81-84-78).
