No. 1 USC women's golf is on a remarkable run to start the season with three tournament wins, including back-to-back team victories at the expense of UCLA at the Allstate Sugar Bowl and the Bruin Wave Invitational.

While she has only played four competitive rounds in her young career at Troy, freshman Ellie Chai is an inspiration for even making it on the top-ranked Trojans. The freshman's golf career has already been threatened by losing her childhood home to Hurricane Katrina and a devastating injury.
