2012 USC ROSTER
The USC women's soccer team's talent pool has deepened even further with the addition of transfers Jordan Marada and Hannah Moehling to the 2012 roster. A native of Mission Viejo, Calif., Marada spent two seasons at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, picking up all-conference honors during that span, and has now signed on with the Women of Troy. Moehling comes to Troy from Miami, where she played one season before making the switch to become a Trojan with Marada and the rest of USC's highly ranked 2012 incoming class.
In her two seasons at Saint Mary's, Marada made history as the first Gael freshman since 1992 to be named to the first team all-conference team, and then set a school record with 12 assists in her sophomore season. Marada prepped at Capistrano Valley HS in Mission Viejo, Calif.
"Jordan gives us some extra scoring punch for this young team," USC head coach Ali Khosroshahin said of Marada. "She's a proven division I player with some serious credentials under her belt, and she will have an immediate impact in the starting lineup for us."
Moehling appeared in 11 games as a freshman at Miami after a strong high school career at Los Altos High in Northern California. A defender, she scored the game-winning goal for the Hurricanes in a 1-0 win over BYU last year.
"Hannah is a great addition to our team," Khosroshahin said of Moehling. "She is a top female athlete who is going to give us more athleticism and depth in our back line.
"She and Jordan will provide much-needed experience to our young Trojan team."
