Former USC volleyball player Jessica Gysin finished second, along with teammate Christal Engle, at the 2011 Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Volleyball Shootout in Milwaukee on Saturday. Gysin/Engle fell to Annette Davis and Jenny Johnson Jordan, 21-15 and 21-18.

The event is being produced by USA Volleyball and IMG.

The official Cuervo Pro Beach Volleyball Series will debut on August 26-28 at the $200,000 Manhattan Beach Open before moving onto Miami Beach with the national championship scheduled for Sept. 23-25 in Hermosa Beach.
