Trojans Selected For NECBL All- Star Game

Ben Mount, Matt Foat and Alex Sherrod have been selected as reserves for the 2011 New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game to be played on Wednesday (July 27). The game will be broadcast live at www.necbl.com.
Foat is batting .309 (34-for-110) for the Newport Gulls with nine doubles, one triple, four home runs and 18 RBI.
Mount is 4-1 with a 1.41 ERA for the Holyoke Blue Sox with five starts. In 32 innings, he has allowed 22 hits and five earned runs with eight walks and 34 strikeouts.
Sherrod is batting .338 (23-for-68) with eight doubles and 10 RBI for the Holyoke Blue Sox.
