
Four Trojans Earn Pac-10 Conference All-Academic Honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Four USC baseball players were named to the 2011 Pac-10 Conference Baseball All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Chris Mezger and Andrew Triggs earned first team honors while Garret Houts earned second team honors and Logan Odom received honorable mention.
Mezger earned a 3.78 grade-point-average in linguistics while Triggs had a 3.57 GPA in social sciences. Houts recorded a 3.20 GPA in communications.
