Henderson Named Pac-10 Field Athlete Of The Week

USC senior hammer thrower Trey Henderson was named the Pac-10 Field Athlete of the Week today (April 25) for the week of April 18-24.
Henderson won the Tiny Lister Classic hammer throw competition on April 22 with a mark of 218-8 (66.66m). It was his fifth hammer throw title of the season as he also won the event at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 3, the CS Northridge Invitational on March 11, the Trojan Invitational on March 18 and the Trojan Tri-Meet on April 1.
Henderson has a top throw this season of 227-10 which ranks third in the country and is more than 13 feet ahead of the next best throw in the Pac-10.
Henderson was a 2010 All-American in the hammer throw as he placed fifth at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 219-5.
