MALIBU, Calif. -- Today's baseball game between USC and Pepperdine was suspended due to darkness after the 11th inning with the score tied at 5-5. Pepperdine broke the 3-3 tie in the 8th inning on Zach Vincej's two-run single off Trojan closer Chad Smith, but USC responded with two runs in the top of the ninth on back-to-back sacrifice flies by Ricky Oropesa and Matt Foat.
The game will be resumed at a date to be determined.
USC hosts Oregon in a Pac-10 Conference series, Friday-Sunday (April 15-17). Game times are 6 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. All three games will be broadcast live through a video webcast, along with Gametracker live stats, on usctrojans.com.
