USC Ties For 12th At Southern Highland

Sophomore Sam Smith carded a 1-under 71 and junior Steve Lim was 1-over for USC in the final round of the 2011 Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas on Sunday (March 13).
USC finished tied for 12th at 42-over 906 (311-294-301) after a 13-over final round. Oklahoma State won with a 1-under 863, the only school under par.
Lim tied for 17th at 6-over 222 (75-74-73) while freshman Jeffrey Kang tied for 36th at 10-over 226 (79-72-75).
Smith's third round, which included four birdies against three bogeys, moved the sophomore into a tie for 42nd at 11-over 227 (80-76-71).
Sophomore Stewart Hagestad tied for 58th at 15-over 237 (77-72-82) while freshman Ramsey Sahyoun finished 74th at 32-over 248 (85-80-73).
