
TBAA Homecoming Banquet Set For November 10

LOS ANGELES -- The Trojan Baseball Alumni Association will hold its third annual Homecoming Banquet on Thursday (Nov. 10) in the Founders Room of the Galen Center. Former Trojan and MLB All-Star Aaron Boone will serve as the master of ceremonies that includes comments from athletic director Pat Haden, baseball head coach Frank Cruz, men's basketball head coach Kevin O'Neill and women's basketball head coach Michael Cooper.
Scheduled to attend are members of the USC baseball coaching staff which include Dan Hubbs, Gabe Alvarez, Eric Munson and Jason Brown. Trojan great and former MLB All-Star Geoff Jenkins is also scheduled to attend.
The 2011 TBAA Lifetime Achievement will be presented to Bill Sharman, a two-time letter winner for USC Baseball who also played in the Brooklyn Dodgers organization for five years before being called up to the parent team in 1951. He then went on to a NBA Hall of Fame career, both as a player and as a coach.
The no-host cocktail party will start at 6 p.m. with dinner taking place at 7 p.m. and the main program going from 7:45 to 9 p.m. The cost is $85 which includes hors d'oeuvres, dinner, program and silent auction.
