USC's No. 2 all-time leader in game-winning goals and No. 3 assists leader, Rosa Anna Tantillo has taken her talents to the pro level and recently received her first call-up for game action in the Women's Professional Soccer league. A member of the FC Gold Pride, Tantillo has made the move to the Bay Area and suited up for competition in the Gold Pride's win over Washington on Sunday (July 11).
A 2006 USC graduate, Tantillo was a standout midfielder during her career as a Trojan, and went on to play in the W-League for Pali Blues and Buffalo Flash before being signed as a free agent by the FC Gold Pride this year. Now, she's a member of the top team in the WPS, and has become the second USC player to compete in the league. Tantillo's former USC teammate Amy Rodriguez was the top pick in the first WPS draft in 2009, and is currently the WPS's second leading scorer.
