LOS ANGELES -- Construction has begun at Dedeaux Field for a new lighting system that is scheduled to be completed in mid-January. The project, estimated at $600,000, will be handled by Musco as Dedeaux Field will have a lighting system that is up-to-date with the minimum lighting requirements by the NCAA in order to host postseason play.
The baseball program will continue to accept donations for the project. Those interested in contributing can contact Don Winston in the development office or Frank Cruz in the baseball office at (213) 740-5762.
