Trojans Set For Cardinal And Gold Series This Weekend

LOS ANGELES -- The USC baseball program will wrap up its fall practice schedule with the traditional Cardinal and Gold Series this weekend at Dedeaux Field. The series begins on Friday at 6 p.m. with a 1 p.m. start on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. start on Sunday.

Friday and Saturday's games will feature a live audio webcast, courtesy of SC TV on usctrojans.com.

Junior All-America first baseman Ricky Oropesa headlines the group of returners as the Trojans ready for the 2011 season. USC hosts Cal Poly, Missouri and North Carolina to open the 2011 season (Feb. 18-20) in a yet-to-be-named tournament at Dedeaux Field.
