Juan Delgadillo Named MPSF Player Of The Week

USC junior driver Juan Delgadillo (Los Angeles, Calif./Harvard-Westlake HS) earned himself MPSF accolades as the Player of the Week after playing a huge role in USC's third straight Southern California Tournament championship. Delgadillo rifled in seven goals in the first three games of the tourney -- including back-to-back hat tricks against Redlands and Long Beach State -- to propel the Trojans into the title match against Stanford.
In that championship rematch, Delgadillo pumped in a fourth-quarter goal that put USC ahead to stay at 6-5. The game-winner pushed Delgadillo to an eight-goal effort in the tourney -- second best on the team. The MPSF honor marks Delgadillo's first-ever Player of the Week award.
