USC President Dr. Steven Sample Meets With NCAA Champions

LOS ANGELES -- The 2003 USC men's water polo team met Tuesday with university president Dr. Steven Sample to honor the team's NCAA national championship. The Trojans won their second NCAA title in men's water polo on Sunday with a thrilling 9-7 overtime victory against the host Stanford Cardinal.

USC finished the season with a 24-3 record and defeated Stanford in all four meetings between the two schools this season. The Trojans won their first title in 1998.
