LOS ANGELES--The top 12 men's water polo teams in the nation are competing today and tomorrow at the 2002 So-Cal Tournament, hosted by the University of Southern California at McDonald's Swim Stadium. The tournament, with 12 matches taking place both days, features No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 USC, No. 3 UC Irvine, co-No. 4 California and Pepperdine, No. 6 UCLA, No. 7 Loyola Marymount, No. 8 UC San Diego, No. 9 Long Beach State, No. 10 UC Santa Barbara, No. 11 Pacific and No. 12 Navy.
