LOS ANGELES -- Junior outfielder Michael Morales (Anaheim/Loara HS) was named to the Verizon Academic All-District VIII Baseball team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Morales will forgo his final year of eligibility as he will be able to participate in graduation ceremonies on Friday (May 10) with a degree in business administration.

Morales currently has a 3.74 grade-point-average. He has started in 17 of 37 games this season with a .319 batting average (22-for-69) with 11 RBI. He is second on the team with 11 stolen bases.
