SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The USC men's water polo team defeated Santa Clara, 16-4, in non-conference action Friday. The match was played in the rain as part of the storm system that has battered the region over the past few days.

The Trojans travel to No. 2 Stanford tomorrow for an important Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match at 1 p.m.
