Men's Water Polo Wins At UC Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. -- The USC Trojans jumped out to an early lead in the first half Saturday to record a 6-4 win in non-conference action at UC Irvine. The Trojans held a 3-0 lead at halftime. USC improved to 7-5 overall while UCI fell to 4-7.
Jeff Larson opened the scoring 11 seconds into the contest. Daniel Lontay and Erik Healy each scored in the second quarter.
Bozidar Damjanovic made 10 saves in goal for the Trojans.
USC will travel to Santa Clara next Friday (Oct. 26) for a 4 p.m. and at Pacific, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match, on Saturday (Oct. 27) at noon.
