2000 Fila Challenge Begins Friday

LOS ANGELES -- The No. 12 USC women's soccer team will host the 2000 Fila Challenge on Friday (Sept. 8) and Sunday (Sept. 10) at USC's McAlister Field.
The field includes No. 8 UCLA, Baylor and Vanderbilt. UCLA plays Vanderbilt tomorrow at 1 p.m., while USC plays Baylor at 3 p.m. On Sunday, UCLA plays Baylor at noon, while USC plays Vanderbilt at 2 p.m.
"This will be a good test for our team," said USC Head Coach Jim Millinder. "Historically, Baylor and Vanderbilt have been good. It's always good to find out how we compare to teams in other conferences like the Big 12 and the SEC."
The Women of Troy (3-0) are off to their best start in the eight-year history of the program. Ticket information can be obtained by calling the USC ticket office at (213) 740-GOSC.
Tickets for the tournament will also be available at the gate. McAlister Field is located on the corner of 30th and Hoover, one block north of the USC campus.
