Trojans Play For USA At Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES - Four members of the USC baseball program will be in uniform Friday when the USA National Team hosts the Japan Collegiate All-Stars at Dodger Stadium. The 1 p.m. game is the third game of a five-game series between the two teams. Head Coach Mike Gillespie and Assistant Coach John Savage anchor the coaching staff while pitchers Mark Prior and Anthony Reyes are part of the 22-man roster. Reyes has made one appearance so far with three innings of no-hit ball while Prior took the loss in Tuesday's game against Japan in Hawaii. Prior struck out nine batters in four innings and allowed one run on three hits.
After tomorrow's game, the USA National Team will continue the summer tour across the United States with games against Korea and Taiwan. The tour will end August 4-14 with the Honkball Tournament in the Netherlands.
