Women's Rowing Earns No. 4 Ranking

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- USRowing and the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced today the 2000 preseason poll for women's varsity eights. USC enters the spring season tied for fourth among the top-20 women's teams. The Trojans share the rank with conference rival Washington.
USC's first race of 2000 will be on Sunday, March 12, against North Carolina at the Port of Los Angeles. The Women of Troy will individually compete in the C.R.A.S.H.-B World Indoor Rowing Championships this Sunday, Feb. 20, in Boston, Mass.
Beginning April 5, 2000, USRowing and the CRCA will be conducting weekly national collegiate polls for Division I women's varsity eights. Below is the Division I women's eight preseason poll.
